Self-Empowerment and Self-Defense

 

 

What?

An invitation to come learn about some ways to avoid getting into an unsafe situation, some ways to avoid being a victim of sexual assault, how to form appropriate boundaries with people, rape prevention and awareness, and if you do become a victim, what legal and emotional steps to take.

 

Where?

IC cafe

 

When?

Tuesdays in January @ 3:10pm starting on January 10th

(1/10, 1/17, 1/24, & 1/31)

 

Who?

Any student and staff at Cherry Creek High School are invited

 

Why?

One out of every 6 women and 1 out of every 33 men will be the target of sexual assault.  Learning skills to minimize your risk as well as your friends’ risk of becoming potential victims will lead to a safer environment for everyone.
